Frequently asked questions
How does Pak-Jod read slips?
It reads photos in the albums of the banking apps you allow, reading the QR code and text on your iPhone. Photos never leave your iPhone.
New slips are read every time you open or return to the app (pull down on Home to read right away) · Slips the app isn't sure about are marked "Check" for you to review.
Which banks are supported?
Reads well (tested with real slips):
- Kasikornbank (K PLUS, MAKE by KBank)
- SCB (SCB EASY)
- Krungthai (Krungthai NEXT)
- Bangkok Bank (Bualuang mBanking)
- ttb (ttb touch)
Being tested (works, but may ask you to check more often): Krungsri (KMA) · Government Savings Bank (MyMo)
Other banks and e-wallets (such as TrueMoney) are not supported yet — tell us which one you need.
Where is my data stored, and how do I delete it?
All transactions are stored on your iPhone; there is no account · Pak-Jod backs up to your own iCloud Drive once a day (the team can't access it) — see Me › Backup.
Reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone with the same Apple ID and you'll be offered your old data to restore · Without iCloud, export to a file and keep it yourself.
If you turned on "Help improve Pak-Jod", delete what you've sent at Me › Help improve Pak-Jod › Delete everything I've sent · Delete sent reports at Help › Sent reports.
Why doesn't "left to spend" match my bank balance?
Left to spend = carried over from last period + salary and other income − spent this period. It is calculated only from transactions in the app, not from your real bank balance.
- Transfers between your own accounts are not counted as spending or income
- Spending without a slip in an album (such as direct debits, credit cards or cash) is invisible to the app — you can add it yourself
- Whatever is left at the end of a period carries over to the next one
